FAQs

The iVote PowerPoint Addin alone is only around 70MB.  However, we have also included prerequisite software packages in case they are not already installed on your windows PC which has increased the download file size.

Refunds cannot be issued for any payments already made.  We have created a free plan to try iVote-App before purchase to ensure it is right for you.

Yes, you can combine iVote-Clickers with the cloud based iVote-App solution.  A combination of clickers and apps can be useful in scenarios where some participants do not have access to a smart device.  To make life even easier, you do not need to learn different software to run the systems – both utilize the same iVote PowerPoint Addin.

We have developed native apps for Apple, Android, Amazon Kindle and Windows 10 stores.  Prior to running a polling session, participants will need to install the iVote-App from their devices app store.

 

Yes. iVote-App can run presentations where audience members send their name and email before a presentation commences. The captured data (attendee list) is available via the iVote report manager.

The iVote PowerPoint Addin stores all voting data from all polling sessions in a variety of formats for review and distribution.

Polling data can also be stored directly in the PowerPoint slides (this can be as a bar/histogram, pie chart or individual responses table).

iVote-App uses the latest cloud based technology to enable real time live audience polling.  We use scalable servers that can manage growing audience numbers seamlessly.

To use iVote-App, the Presenter PC and Participant devices will need an internet connection – WiFi or cellular signal will both work.  The iVote-App system has been designed to robustly manage internet connection issues by auto switching between WiFi or Cell signal with no effort from users.

  1. Download the iVote PowerPoint Addin (it is a .zip file)
  2. Unzip the file and run “setup.exe”.  The addin will install directly into Microsoft PowerPoint as a tab/ribbon called “IVOTE”
  3. Click the ACCOUNT button from the iVote tab in PowerPoint.
  4. Select “Create Free Account” and follow the instructions to create your free iVote account.

Chargebee is ISO certified.
ISO 27001 is an information security management standard that specifies the requirements for information security management best practices within an organization. This includes the assessment and treatment of information security risks to suit the needs of an organization. Chargebee is assessed by an independent third party auditor which validates that Chargebee’s information security management program is comprehensive and follows leading security best practices.

The iVote-App PowerPoint Add-in works with the following versions of Microsoft PowerPoint:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2013
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2016

You will need Admin privileges to install the iVote PowerPoint Add-in.
